Support

Tails of Service keeps therapy-animal visit records private and portable. No account is required.

Getting Started

  1. Open Tails of Service.
  2. Add handler profile details in Settings so new visits can be prefilled.
  3. Add animal profile details such as name, species, breed, certification, and notes.
  4. Create a visit record after each therapy-animal visit.

Log a Visit

Record the visit site, organization, visit type, date, duration, people reached, animal, handler, and notes. Use the reflection fields to capture performance, energy, comfort, successes, observed behaviors, things to work on, and training plan.

Export Records

Create CSV or PDF exports with the fields and date range you select. After an export is generated, iOS displays options for saving or sharing the file.

Backups

Choose a folder in iCloud Drive or Files to enable automatic portable JSON backups. Tails of Service writes an updated backup after each saved visit.

Troubleshooting

I do not see expected profile details in a new visit.

Open Settings, update the handler profile, and save. Confirm the animal profile has the name and details you want to use.

My backup folder is unavailable.

Choose the folder again from Settings. The Files provider may require sign-in or reconnection.

I still need help.

Email [email protected] and include the app version, iOS version, device model, and a description of what happened. Please do not email private visit records unless they are necessary for troubleshooting.
