Getting Started
- Open SAR Training Log.
- Create a training or search session record.
- Add the date, start and end times, location, training topic, people, resources, weather, and summary.
- Save the record for later review.
Session Details
Use session records for training type, location coordinates, training area notes, weather, light, terrain, ground condition, vegetation, environmental distractions, safety notes, performance reviews, exercises, and attachments.
Action Items and Resources
Create action items for follow-up work, track skills, and maintain resources such as dogs or other SAR assets. Reports can show session history and resource progress.
Exports and Backups
Use Reports or sharing actions to export session CSV files, action item CSV files, session PDFs, resource progress PDFs, resource history CSV files, and JSON backups. Backups can be saved on this device, to iCloud Drive, or to a selected folder when available.
Privacy and Official Records
SAR Training Log is a personal training journal. Follow your organization's official reporting, operational security, and certification documentation requirements.
