Information Handled by the App
SAR Training Log may store information you enter, including training or search dates, start and end times, location names, coordinates, travel details, area notes, training topics, people, resources, skills, weather and environmental conditions, exercises, performance reviews, safety notes, action items, attachments, certifications, attendance records, exports, and backups.
On-Device Storage
Training records are stored in the app's private storage on your device unless you choose to export, share, or back them up using iOS features. SAR Training Log does not require a developer account and does not upload records to a developer-operated server.
Location
SAR Training Log may request When In Use location access so you can record coordinates for a training or search session. Location access is optional, and session locations can be entered manually.
Photos and Videos
SAR Training Log may request photo library access so you can attach photos or videos to training session records. Media is used for attachments you choose and is not sent to the developer.
Exports and Sharing
CSV, PDF, and JSON exports are created only when you request them. Any exported or shared records leave the app only when you choose to save or share them.
Backups
Backups can be stored on this device, in iCloud Drive, or in a folder you select through iOS file access. Files stored with iCloud Drive or another Files provider are subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
Data Collection and Tracking
The developer does not receive your training records, locations, attachments, exports, or backups. SAR Training Log does not include advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or data-broker integrations. The developer does not sell personal information.
Retention and Deletion
On-device records remain until you delete them, erase the app's data, or uninstall the app. You control exported files and backups saved outside the app.
